Stephanie Hobo

Just can't seem to get enough of the metallic black Stephanie Hobo from DVF. I'd like to add it to my holiday wish list this year. Hope Santa isn't suffering from the economic downturn....

Wild Sorbet

One of my favorite things about working with clients, is when they introduce me to new businesses that I love. Here's a site that I've been playing with this morning. It's called Wild Sorbet, and they have one of the most fantastic selection of frames that I've found on the web. A wide array of colors, textures, and just overall delightful frames! Give it a look see, you will adore.

Save the Ta-ta's Swarovski Clutch

Over due for your breast cancer donation this month? This sparkling conversation piece is just the ticket! Up for auction on ebay, 100% of the sales from this clutch goes toward the Save the Ta-Tas foundation on behalf of Zoe Klutch and Charity Chicks Houston.

Pretty much anything with the word "ta-ta's" on it belongs in my closet. I may just have to put in the first bid, I'd be the envy of all of my friends! Bid on it here.

Paranormal Portraits & Spooky Terrariums

This past weekend, I picked up a copy of Country Living Magazine for some brand spankin' new Halloween ideas. It isn't one of my usual mags, but I am soooo impressed with their Halloween décor, that it will now be added to my list of regulars. All of the decorations above are super easy DIY crafts that you can learn how to create on their website.

Mod Mags

Been hunting for some chic magazine storage for a friend's new place, and thought I'd share some of my favorites today...

A Rose By Any Other Name...

Just got back from my magical surprise Birthday weekend in Siesta Key, Florida. What a fantabulous weekend! I'll definitely post some photos later on this week. Would have loved to don these shades in the bright Florida sun while I was there. Ah well, a girl can dream...

Glittery Ghouls

Ya know, my girl Martha really never dissapoints. Just when I think she might actually run out of ideas, she's back with more creepy-yet-sophisticated Halloween decor yet again this year. Here are some favorites I'm hoping to use at my personal haunted mansion...err...haunted patio home...

Eskimo Chic

It's so rainy and yucky today, and these furry Sheepskin Boots look like they would be divine for keeping your feet dry and moasty toasty. Totally Eskimo-chic. That's my new term. I coined it, and you must pay me if you'd like to use it. Okay, so I suppose it is possible that someone else has used it before, but I still declare it mine!

Costume Your King (or Queen)

That's right. If your feline is the type that enjoys ghosts and goblins, Pampered Whiskers has just the thing for you. Your fur ball can cloak himself in a wide array of Halloween garb. Perhaps a frog, cowboy, flower or even show off his status as King (to the envy of every other kitty in the neighborhood no doubt). So why does Houston's Weekly chic heart Pampered Whiskers? A portion of all of their proceeds go to local Houston shelters. Making your cat look ridiculous (or devastatingly handsome) has never been so generous! You can find them on etsy here, or their website here.

A Punkin Card Website

Amie Needham of A Punkin Card Company is at it again! After offering an exceptional selection of handmade cards since 2007, she launched a brand new website this past month, making her creations more accessible to greeting card lovers across the globe.

Ever since the start of Houston's Weekly Chic, we have been madly in love with Amy's hand-loved cards, journals, and gift tags. If you plow through our blog archives, you will no doubt find her work sprinkled generously throughout.

Her newest work is no exception. Here are some lovelies from her line of custom wedding invitations. “Now it’s even easier to have a unique wedding invitation,” said Amy. “Brides can go online, pick a design and color, customize the card with their details, select the number they need, and they are all set." Be sure to email these wedding invites to the pickiest of brides. I just adore them, and hope you do too...
