Fall Fashion Event benefitting GAN research

Every now and then an event comes across my desk, that really touches my heart. This benefit is ones of those cases.

On Thursday, September 25th,  stylist Rebecca Matthews will host a Fall Fashion benefit for Justin's TRIumph Over GAN and Hannah's Hope Fund. These AMAZING organizations raise money for research to fight Giant Axonal Neuropathy (GAN).

So what in the world is GAN? It is a rare, fatal genetic disorder that effects only 50-70 children worldwide. I was especially intrigued by this disorder, when I learned that 2 children that live in our community, Justin Clark (13) and Lexi Clark (9) from Bellaire, TX were diagnosed with GAN last year. Without money for research to find a cure, Justin and Lexi's life expectancy is in their early 20s.

This lovely event will be a luncheon at the Junior League.  Tickets can be purchased here

100% of the net profits will go towards finding a cure for GAN.
